The Implementation Project Manager will coordinate all aspects of client implementations for all lines of business. The primary focus of the position will be managing the implementation objectives of new client implementations. The Implementation Project Manager will support new business by applying a clearly defined project management approach for new client implementations.

This role doesn't focus solely on IT functions ~ REQUIRES Healthcare/Dental Experience

Job Summary Details:

  • Manage new client implementations, including Commercial, Medicaid, Medicare, and Exchange lines of business.

  • Develop detailed work plans, schedule estimates, status reports and implementation priorities.

  • Coordinate with Account Management, Operational and Information Technology project teams, ensuring on-time, successful implementations.

  • Partner with Account Management to ensure all implementation project milestones are tracked, documented, audited, and closed in accordance with project timelines.

  • Continuously refine the implementation process through conducting post go live lessons learned analysis and develop action plans to improve.

  • Lead client program reviews, reviewing overall status for each client implementation.

  • Obtain signoffs on all deliverables from key internal and external project stakeholders.

  • Make timely and appropriate decisions to ensure implementations are on track for successful service and go live readiness.

  • Manage ongoing client project documentation such as schedules, issues lists, risk factors, meeting minutes and ensure documents are complete, current and archived.

  • Create and execute project plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing internal and external requirements.

  • Effectively coordinate internally, externally and to complete planned tasks.

  • Identify implementation changes quickly, gaining approval on updates/changes, escalating issues to ensure resolution before missing a deliverable.

  • Coordinate with internal resources and vendors, as necessary.

  • Prepare weekly status reports for each project.

  • Conduct meetings with project sponsor, stakeholders, vendors, IT, Executives, etc.

Education / Experience:

  • Minimum 4-year Bachelor's degree in the healthcare industry or related field

  • PMP certification or PMO experience

  • Minimum 2 years project management experience in the healthcare industry

Skills / Knowledge:

  • Proven implementation and project management skills

  • Demonstrated success managing complex projects

  • Self-starter motivation with strong time management skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on MS Project, Teams, Access, OneNote, Excel and Vision

  • Proficiency in SharePoint and PowerPoint

  • Advanced Excel functionality (Pivot Tables, Complex formulas) preferred

  • Demonstrates strong leadership skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization

  • Advanced analytical and reasoning skills

  • Detail-oriented and thrives in a collaborative environment

  • Must have a high degree of patience; attention to detail; and excellent writing, interpersonal, solution generation, and organizational skills

  • Effective conflict management skills

COMPENSATION:

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary for this position is $60,000 - $99,305, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired at LIBERTY, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors - we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any, final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
