The Program Manager will be managing/directing the Operation New Hope Transition unit, a new program at Georgia Regional Hospital, Savannah. In addition to the listed duties and responsibilities, the person selected for this position will be responsible for assisting with program development and providing oversight of the daily operations of the program, both onsite and offsite.
Under the supervision of the Forensic Director The New Hope Program Manager will have the following duties & responsibilities:
Assesses needs of target population and completes required assessments for the program
Implements data from assessments to formulate individual case formulations and identify strengths and risk factors
Works with multidisciplinary team and individuals to create individualized treatment plans that are client-centered and strength-based
Collect relevant data to assess program effectiveness
Follow treatment guidelines for advancing individuals through phases of treatment
Coordinates with outside providers to provide services to assist individuals in reaching their treatment, educational and/or vocational goals
Develops long-term and short-term objectives and plans for the program
Develops policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines for the program
Implements individual and group treatment to individuals to assist them in meeting treatment goals
Research and recommend best practices for person-centered, strength-based and recovery-focused care
Reviews and interprets state and federal regulations related to the program
Required Qualifications: Master's Degree in counseling, Psychology, or Social Work from an accredited institution and current licensure in Georgia of the same
In addition selected applicant must meet the following standards:
Must pass a pre-employment background check (which included criminal records check, driver's history, and verification or work history) and a post-hire federal background investigation.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and will be placed in the pool for the State Random Drug Testing Program.

Able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
Master's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Three years of experience performing work related to area of assignment, One year of which in a supervisory role OR Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Five years of experience performing work related to area of assignment, Two years of which in a supervisory role OR One year of experience at the lower level Healthcare Prgm Consultant 3 (HCP092) or position equivalent. Note: Some positions may require licensure.
