We are looking for a collaborative individual to join our team as a Healthcare Partners Relationship Liaison.
What You Will Do:
As a Healthcare Partner Relationship Liaison you will be responsible for working with both external and internal customers.
External customer work includes: relationship development, services and contracting with varied regional healthcare partners - positioning Gundersen as the partner of choice.
Internal customer work includes: working closely with clinical service leaders to help them develop and execute plans to achieve regional success and growth for their service line within and across our regional service area.

An Ideal Candidate Will Have:
5-7 years experience in a healthcare field, marketing, or sales experience
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or health related field

Job Description:
The Referral Outreach Liaison builds relationships that protect and expand the Gundersen Health System referral base and increases the likelihood for partnerships and affiliations that contribute to Gundersen Health System's growth. The focus of the Referral Outreach Liaison centers on building and maintaining relationships between our affiliate hospitals, regionals providers, and the specialists at Gundersen Health System or with Non-Gundersen organizations and requires frequent touchpoints with CEOs, hospital administrators and other clinical leadership. Serves as a point of contact for any outreach issues, working to find solutions and interfaces with GHS senior leaders including VPs and all of GHS's operating teams. Coordinates with other Referral Outreach Liaison to ensure smooth integration of all related services. Referral Outreach Liaisons working with non-Gundersen organizations are responsible for business development initiatives, including relationship building with larger employers within the GHS service area. The Referral Outreach Liaison executes on regional business strategy, regional development, and implementation of specific programs and services for the medical staff and regional healthcare providers.
Major Responsibilities:
Regional Outreach Specialty Services
1.Seeks and establishes new outreach and relationship opportunities and enhances current services and programs.
2.In conjunction with Team 5 leadership, contracts with affiliates and/or non-Gundersen Medical Center facilities.
3.Promotes Gundersen Health System specialties and subspecialties seeking growth through referrals.
4.Participates in internal regional planning and strategy development.
Regional Consultant
5.Via annual meetings with Gundersen Health System Department Chairs and Administrative Directors, serves select specialists and specialties in providing expertise, perspective, and recommendations related to regional development.
New Provider Promotion
6.Promotes select new or designated specialists or specialty services throughout the service area or region.
7.Coordinates introduction of clinicians to non-Gundersen facilities or into the region to promote new services.
Medical Education
8.Coordinates regional medical education programs for clinical providers throughout the Gundersen Medical Center service area.
Hospital and Clinic Relations
9.Develops and maintains professional relationships with leadership staff at Gundersen Health System regional hospitals and clinics or non-Gundersen organizations.
Market Intelligence
Monitors and reports competitive issues impacting Gundersen Medical Center and regional healthcare centers.
Seeks market information regarding competition, market developments, and opportunities.
Analyzes and reports regional data as appropriate.

Education and Learning:
REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Nursing, or a health-related field
DESIRED
Master's degree in a health-related field
Work Experience:
REQUIRED
5-7 years of experience in a health-related field with clinical experience
DESIRED
10+ years of experience in a health-related field in addition to 5 years of outreach or sales experience.
