As a Healthcare Operations Manager (aka Facility Administrator or "FA" internally) you will directly impact patient care as the trusted front-line leader in an outpatient clinic in Lancaster, California.

The incumbent leads the section and directs and administers the programs of a technical and administrative nature to accomplish the functional task and overall development of the section. Interviews potential new job candidates and makes decisions or recommends personnel actions such as hiring, discipline and termination. * Assists in establishing technical, administrative and procedural guidelines to meet the needs enterprise in accordance with Company and customer requirements. * Manages the technical performance of work assigned to the Department. * Maintains current operational status information and assessments on projects, budgets, and development plans. * Evaluates and makes adjustments in procedures or reassigns priorities to projects/tasks as needed to keep all activities on schedule and within budgetary limits. * Oversees and monitors unit compliance with QA and process improvement goals and standards. * Assures that appropriate training is provided to unit personnel to promote continuous improvement of services to the customer. * Interacts and coordinates with the customer on a personal basis as required to ensure that all customer requirements or agreements are being met to their satisfaction. * Periodically evaluates the performance of all subordinate supervisors and scientific or technical professionals under direction of the incumbent. * Performs a variety of other related managerial tasks as needed or as requested by the Range or other senior managers. RANGE POSITION DESCRIPTION -- The Department Manager I will be responsible for the leadership and oversight of all JT4 tasks within Sub Annex-O (Operations Group) at various CTF's throughout Annex-1 (Edwards AFB, CA). The qualified candidate must meet the job functions, duties and requirements that have been identified. Additionally, the most qualified candidate should possess experience with CTF operations and management of large flight test programs. Test conduct and control experience is also highly desirable along with sub contract management to include development of "Statement of Works" (SOW), evaluation of technical proposals, task monitoring & control and budget development. Knowledge with flight test planning & scheduling applications such as COOL, WISE, etc. is also a plus. Additional sub annex or task responsibilities will be assigned as required. REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL AND WORK EXPERIENCE -- Bachelor's Degree (preferred), or equivalent formal academic or technical training and experience, and possess an in-depth knowledge of the principles of advanced management obtained through formal or self-study. Understands the operational philosophy and business nature of the company. Must be familiar with computer based management tools. Must have an in-depth working knowledge of related career fields such as technical trades or scientific and engineering professions and possess 10 years' experience in one of the related fields. Experience is to include 3 years in a managerial/supervisory role. Must have a valid, current state driver's license. Must have an active DoD Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.
