Within the healthcare market, which may cross divisions or areas, the Healthcare Major Account Executive is responsible for identifying leads and proactively prospecting and selling new commercial, industrial, recycling waste services, and consolidated services to large potential and existing customers, often with multiple locations and varying needs. In coordination with Field Sales personnel, the Healthcare Major Account Executive-National Accounts meets regularly with prospective new clients, in the healthcare industry to deliver sales presentations, follow up with key decision makers and sell all services, including total waste stream management, as appropriate.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Identifies viable leads, manages prospects and acquires new, profitable commercial, industrial and recycling business to meet and exceed monthly established targeted revenue goals.
Coordinates sales activities (co-sell) with all Sales
Meets at least monthly with the applicable Sales Supervisors, Managers, and Directors to review the sales pipeline and to secure input.
Utilizes Salesforce on a daily basis, schedules and documents all activities, and develops robust information profiles on prospective customers to facilitate acquisition of new customers.
Post sale, facilitates the set up and delivery (Consolidated Billing, Centralized Customer Service, report access through the National Accounts Customer Portal, and 3rd Party Sourcing) for multi-location customers.
Develops and maintains an awareness of healthcare market behavior and competitive trends in designated market to anticipate changing customer needs.
Prepares and delivers sales presentations; follows up with key decision makers to assure contracts are closed in a timely and profitable manner.
Maintains a thorough knowledge of the company's available services, lines of business, Capture and other pricing tools. Offer services to potential commercial, industrial and recycling clients, including total waste stream management solutions, as appropriate, to grow targeted profitable revenue and contribute to company goals and objectives.
Meets regularly with local Sales and General Managers, as appropriate, to review sales activities and prospective customer calling activities.
Tracks all prospective customer information in Salesforce on required reporting format.
Builds relationships and increases company visibility through participation in company-sponsored activities as required; attends trade shows, chamber of commerce events and other events, as necessary. Acts as a company representative at community events, where required.
Completes all required Customer Service Agreements ("CSAs"), Salesforce entries and other reports in a complete, accurate and timely manner.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.

4 years of prior sales experience that includes a minimum of one year selling large, complex customer accounts (required).
Experience with the healthcare industry (required).
Valid driver's license (required).
Prior waste industry or service industry experience.
