This position works with Healthcare account leaders to define migration strategy and designs improved processes to deliver ITIL based service support and technical account management.

NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Healthcare IT Audit and Compliance Specialist to join our team in Tucson, AZ. As a Healthcare IT Audit and Compliance Specialist, you will provide cost-effective business systems and applications analysis in support of the development and implementation of business applications.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an information security analyst conducting information security assessments throughout the clients' environment

  • Acting as a liaison to Internal Audit, Legal, Compliance, and the Corporate Security team

  • Focus extensively on building and expanding relationships with key stakeholders such as leadership, physicians, other security analysts, business partners and vendors

  • Perform hospital and ambulatory security risk analysis and security evaluation audits

  • Monitor compliance with information security policies and procedures and referring problems to the appropriate department manager

  • Create and maintain information security risk analysis and security evaluation documents and associated paperwork

  • Provide direct training and oversight as needed, ensuring proper information security compliance in accordance with established organizational information security policies and procedures

  • Provide analysis of potential risk to information security and recommending solutions

  • Identify and analyzing potential impacts, likelihoods and risks caused by threats

  • Identify and analyze security measures required to control risks and escalate matters of business risk

  • Support external auditors as needed, including system-wide access, policy review and remediation

  • Assess client's information security policy and data-security needs to analyze whether vendor has sufficient security measures and data protections in place to meet the client's corporate standards

  • Initiate, facilitate, and promote activities to create information security awareness within the facilities

Basic Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years' experience with Security Auditing
  • 3 to 5 years' experience with Access Control Lists and Security Principals
  • 1 to 3 years' experience with End user support
  • 3 to 5 years' experience with Executive Management Reporting
  • 5+ years' experience with HIPPA Audit Controls and SOX Audit Reporting

The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of medical device/in-vitro diagnostic environment. Strong organizational skills and experience in Quality Management Systems administration is required for this position. Good communication and documentation skills are necessary in this highly regulated environment. Roles and Responsibilities: General * Supports other functions on quality issues and concerns. * Develops project plans and leads QMS continuous improvement projects. QMS Metrics and Trending Management * Analyzes, maintains, and reports QMS data; manages and escalates awareness of events that may contribute negatively to QMS processes or effectiveness. * Communicates data and information on a regular basis; provides information to the management review process. Management Review * Schedules management reviews. * Prepares agenda for management reviews. * Collects and reviews slides and data for trends and management review discussion topics. * Takes and publishes management review minutes. Non-conformances Management * Administers the non-conformance system. * Reviews and closes equipment, product, and process nonconformities, manufacturing deviations. * Tracks NCR metrics and makes improvements as necessary to maintain system efficiencies. Supplier Management * Evaluates the adequacy and consistency of criteria used for qualification of suppliers. * Evaluates supplier status changes for QMS requirements. * Reviews and administers Quality Agreements. * Coordinates supplier monitoring with Materials Management group. * Reviews adequacy of SCARs; evaluates the effectiveness of supplier corrective actions. * Tracks SCAR metrics and makes improvements as necessary to maintain system efficiencies. Audit Management * Creates and administers internal audit schedule. * Performs internal and supplier audits. * Manages all internal and supplier audit activities (schedule, plan, perform, CAPA follow up). * Administers external audit findings by assigns and assisting with related investigations and Corrective Actions. * Monitors the progress of audit related corrective actions. * Coordinates and assists in preparation for external audits and Regulatory body inspections. Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, or related experience and 5 years quality experience in medical device industry, preferably in in-vitro diagnostics, or master's degree and 3 years of relevant experience. * Minimum of 3 years of quality assurance experience required. * Demonstrated knowledge of microbiology.
