HEALTHCARE ENGAGEMENT PARTNERThe Opportunity:
In 2017, we carved out a new area: North America Delivery, and the Healthcare Engagement Partner plays a critical and significant role in the success of North America Delivery. At an account, in partnership with the Client Partner (CP) and Delivery Leader (DL), the EP is instrumental in building a healthy balance between transforming, and delivering the current book of business, and helping win new business. From a client standpoint, the EP is the single point of contact for all delivery matters on-site and, and along with the DL, and provides a unified view of our delivery to the client. The EP will work in close coordination with the CP on account growth/mining initiatives and be guided by the CP and the DL for account specific P&L goals. The professional should live within a daily commutable distance to either Dallas, TX or Chicago, IL or be willing to relocate to either city.
You will be operating as part of the unified delivery organization, the Healthcare Engagement Partner acts as a liaison between our commercial and delivery organizations building the right balance between new business pursuits, delivery, and transformation of the current book of business.
You will serve as a senior onsite delivery liaison supporting the client and internal teams and works closely with DP to ensure alignment of delivery to client's key objectives and improved delivery governance.
You will direct a team of Cognizant associates and third party suppliers
Responsible for mentoring the team on tools and processes to run projects, participates in hiring decisions and conducts performance appraisals of staff.
You are responsible for defense of the current portfolio as well as sequential/organic growth within the current book of business.
You are accountable for achieving Account Bid vs. Did and helps run internal account operations these include operations, process, coordination etc.
From a client standpoint, establish oneself as the single point of contact for delivery on all existing contracts; the EP lends credibility to new pursuits by demonstrating our knowledge of the client's business.
Builds and maintains key client relationships along with the Client Partner, is consultative in proposing new ways of managing as well as transforming current business.
You will lead and drive the client QBR and Steering committee meetings.
Provides full and accurate communication with the internal and external customer and vendors.
Responsible for leading CSAT score working with internal partners.
15+ years of overall Healthcare Delivery experience, with 10+ in a client facing role within the Healthcare consulting industry leading delivery of services.
Ability to engage senior client executives, i.e., C-suite, and Line of Business Executives in one-on-one discussions.
Demonstrated experience leading deliveries across multiple Healthcare service lines utilizing the global delivery model spanning on-site, on-shore, and off-shore locations.
Should be adept at leading large teams.
Extensive experience working with Project/Program Management processes, including experience with Program Management tools to plan, lead and monitor projects.

A successful Healthcare Engagement Partner has a balanced mix of account management, client management, delivery leadership, and bid vs. did/financial management skills. In addition, s/he is well versed with Digital Transformation and the full suite of Cognizant capabilities that can help guide clients along their Digital journey.
Has experience/familiarity with newer technology delivery methods e.g., Agile/DevOps, automation, near-shore delivery, leading local workforce, etc.
Has knowledge of Digital Transformation and Automation trends/tools/competition including meaningful next generation technologies
Is capable of leading or actively contributing to CxO level conversations and conducting employee town halls at onsite
Willingness to relocate to the client location with ability to travel regularly.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Advanced degree (MBA or Masters) is a plus
