  • 100% Remote, Req#2787768 Summary of Position Mount Sinai is looking for a Healthcare Business Analyst with Data Warehousing/ETL Skillset and will be responsible for maintaining and managing new existing MSHP data marts and data feeds on the cloud Ecosystem. Roles & Responsibilities:

    Work on Analysis of requirements and design solutions to meet the business requirements. Provide design proposals following best practices considering data, business and service layers for all system changes such as defects, business impacts, work prioritization and estimation. Assess business requirements for completeness and accuracy.

    Good at working with the business systems architects and application developers to streamline data governance, data cleansing, data normalization and usage patterns. Producing requirements gathering and writing functional specifications. Perform data evaluation, data profiling, identification of potential problem areas and make the appropriate recommendations.

    Identify, recommend and implement ETL process and architecture improvements. Developing code using various ETL tools and reporting tool

  • Tableau and review all the code along with unit testing. Is able to do ADSF scripting to do basic data movement and queries.

    Worked collaboratively with different teams to smoothly slide the project from various environments to production. Manage build phase and quality assure code to ensure fulfilling requirements and adhering to cloud ETL architecture. Uses a hands-on approach to provide solutions and will follow standard project lifecycle and development methodologies Effectively analyzes, troubleshoots issues, defects encountered in applications and follow-up with vendor support team on product defects.

    Develop best practices and routines to ensure for the data accuracy and integrity. Monitor and Manage existing data mart and data feed routines/ETL Jobs. Monitor and Manage ADT HL7 and CCD data Feeds.

    Perform ETL Jobs debugging and bug fixing. Add enhancements to the existing ETL Jobs as business demands Requirements: Education: Minimum of Bachelor's Degree Experience: 5 - 7 years responsible experience in a directly related area, in business analyst, systems programming, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. 5 plus years of experience in Healthcare Industry especially on Provider domain.

    Solid experience in Designing and developing Data warehouses and BI systems along with other data governance initiatives. Extensive experience for collecting business requirements from customers and aligning them with organization objectives and direction. Solid working experiences on Data Warehouse, Data Modelling and ETL Concepts.

    Solid working experiences on RDBMS concepts, SQL Queries and Performance tuning. Solid working experiences on Health care standards like HL7,CCD and FHIR, and Coding systems(like ICD,CPT etc). Extremely strong analytical and problem-solving skills; outstanding verbal, written and visual presentation skills. Proven skills to work effectively across internal functional areas in ambiguous situations, structured thinker and effective communicator.

    Ability to work independently, establishing strategic objectives, project plans and milestone goals. Application Analyst III (LIS / Laboratory Information Systems) - Digital and Technology Partners, Remote, Req# 2801040 *This is specifically for laboratory information systems.</p><p>*Will consider candidates for 100% remote with 5+ years experience with SCC Softlab or Sunquest LIS and available to be onsite one day per year.</p><ul><li>Application Analyst II (Lab/LIS) Roles &amp; Responsibilities: Job Summary Application Analyst II has overall responsibility for monitoring and maintaining laboratory systems, software and hardware, recommending and implementing systems enhancements and upgrades. <br><br> Supports lab database in preparing lab-specific ad hoc reports, maintain all files, accumulating workload statistics, providing training related to the LIS and interacting with vendors for the selection and upgrade of software. Essential Job Functions Testing with Hospital Information system, external interfaces during system changes as well as version upgrades. Analyzing HL7 messages to identify and fix any issues between interfaces and the Laboratory Information system application. <br><br> Maintaining up-to-date documentation and necessary paperwork for all testing activities as well as change requests. Creating and updating documents to ensure knowledge transfer from seniors to juniors and new comers Implementing change management requests in LIS Maintaining Inbound / Outbound HIS Interfaces to ensure uninterrupted communication between several interfaces and Laboratory Information System Instrument Interface technical support. Working with Application vendor, instrument vendors and laboratory to interface new instruments to Laboratory Information System. <br><br> Creating Reports, Ad-hoc data / statistics extraction as required using the application and / or database and SQL queries Creation and maintenance of Support PCs / VPN tunnels for the vendor and remote consultants. Managing Offshore resources to ensure round-the-clock system stability Assisting the Laboratory Information System Managers to co-ordinate projects and resource management, supervise junior team members Perform Laboratory Information System related Hardware maintenance like label printers, report printers, creation of print queues, etc. Coordinating regular Server restarts and routine maintenance activities with the Laboratory, Laboratory Information System and the server support teams. <br><br> End-user troubleshooting to make sure expedited resolution of any issues in the production environment. Provide Off hours and Weekend support and help co-ordinate upgrade and Go-Live events. Working with the IT, Network, End user support services to ensure laboratory Information system team requests for various services are catered to. <br><br> Resolving internal tickets, Helpdesk tickets created by users and maintaining updates on the vendor ticketing system. Medical Laboratory Technologist Licensure preferred 2-3 years of Laboratory system experience required.
