Healthcare Data Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY:

This role is responsible for organizing and managing large and varied data sets, trending and analyzing healthcare data to optimize business operations, and communicating their findings using data visualization and detailed reports to leadership and management levels. This position serves as the key person to run reports, trends, and complete follow-ups. In addition, provide data support to prepare the record requests, classify, organize records for submissions, and perform other departmental duties as requested.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field required. Master's degree in a related area (ex. master's Information Systems, Master's Computer Science, MHA, etc.) preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 2-3 years of home health care related experience in obtaining and handling data, data entry, and reporting. Knowledge of EMRs is required.

SPECIAL SKILLS:

Analytical ability with proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and computer software, as well as SHP and HCHB, is required. Demonstrated ability in data trending, manipulation, and presentation.

Demonstrated ability to root cause and assist management in process improvement activities. Demonstrates impeccable communication and interpersonal skills and is capable of prioritizing, time management, etc. Ability to multitask and pay attention to details, often changing from one task to another without losing efficiency or composure.
