Healthcare Data Analyst Home Care Quality Improvement
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under moderate supervision and established procedures, policies and detailed instructions, drive resolution and promote peak performance. This position serves as the key person to submit HIS and OASIS assessments to State, maintain compliance with the requirements, run reports, complete follow ups and trends findings.
In addition, provide support to prepare the ADR requests, classify, organize records for submissions, and perform other departmental duties as requested. Required includes organizing and managing large and varied data sets, analyzing healthcare data to optimize business operations, and communicating their findings through the use of data visualization and detailed reports to leadership and management level. The ability to work with management staff.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field required. Master's degree in a related area (ex. Master's Information Systems, Master's Computer Science, MHA, etc.)preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 2-3 years of health care related experience in obtaining and handling data, data entry, and reporting. Familiarity with electronic medical records is preferred.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Analytical ability with proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and computer software. Demonstrated ability in data analysis, manipulation, and presentation.
Demonstrates ability in obtaining root cause of problems and assisting management in process improvement. Demonstrates impeccable communication and interpersonal skills. Capacity to effectively use critical thinking/analytical skills, problem-solving, decision-making, prioritizing, time management, etc. Ability to multitask and pay attention to details, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure.
