We are seeking a healthcare industry expert to join our dynamic new Content Strategy team at Guidepoint. This team creates content and curated programming by leveraging the world class advisors in our network; we host teleconferences, in-person meetings, and custom events on timely and relevant topics for our clients.

This role requires a keen ability to monitor and dissect industry news by developing content that provides valuable insights. The ideal candidate is passionate about the healthcare industry and stays abreast of trends and conferences. You will also have outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and experience generating content for a variety of media types and vehicles ranging from white papers, articles and newsletters to digital, video, and podcasts.

What You'll Do

  • Identifying, curating, and producing healthcare focal points and topics for calls and events

  • Creating and moderating teleconferences and in-person roundtables with industry experts

  • Keeping up with industry news and publications, and attending conferences and meetings

  • Interacting with our client base and internal teams to generate ideas and discussion guides

  • Establishing and managing relationships with key industry advisors to facilitate their engagement

  • Working with the events' logistics team to enforce Guidepoint compliance policies and custom client protocols for events and teleconferences

What You Have

  • Bachelor's degree in science or engineering (Master's preferred)

  • 4+ years of experience as a healthcare research analyst or consultant (sell-side/buy-side preferred)

  • Keen knowledge of devices, drugs, and broader healthcare industry trends

  • Experience creating healthcare content and agendas for client events

  • Ability to engage with senior business leaders and clients with ease

  • An entrepreneurial "owner" mentality, and comfort in fast paced environments

  • Must have knowledge of and some experience with using an expert network

Overview Partners Connected Health Innovation (CHI) is an internationally recognized center leading the way in the design, development, and evaluation of innovative technologies intended to transform healthcare delivery and foster healthier lives. As new products are developed, we conduct pilot evaluations and/or formal, IRB approved clinical trials to evaluate usability and gather evidence of impact on key outcomes. The Digital Content Producer will work with the Marketing team and the rest of the Connected Health Innovation group to develop SEO-friendly copy for websites, social media, blogs, newsletters, case studies, white papers, thought leadership pieces and press releases, as well as graphics where appropriate. The ultimate goal of these efforts is to raise awareness of the Connected Health Innovation group to audiences both within the Partners HealthCare hospital network and outside of it, which in turn will drive adoption/utilization of CHI products and services. Principal Duties and Responsibilities The Digital Content Creator will work with the Marketing team and other internal resources to develop SEO-friendly copy and graphics for the Connected Health Innovation team's digital initiatives. While the primary focus will be on the web and social media, other outlets include newsletters, emails, white papers and press releases, and other communication vehicles as deemed appropriate. Responsibilities: * In conjunction with the editorial calendar, write press releases, social media posts and thought leadership pieces to support project milestones, staff speaking engagements and research publications * Work with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to vet content and ensure its accuracy * Schedule social media posts using a publishing tool such as HootSuite * Follow industry trends and advancements, and craft thought leadership articles and social posts to promote * Follow trends in the web and social media, and offer suggestions on how to best adopt new tools * Analyze social media performance data – either via a native platform (Twitter, Facebook, etc.) or third-party dashboard – and offer recommendations on how to increase content interaction * Analyze Google Analytics website data and offer recommendations on how to improve performance * Other duties as assigned * Bachelor's degree required – Preferably in Journalism, Marketing, Communications or PR * 3-5 years' experience creating multimedia content and managing social media profiles for a business * Marketing/PR/journalism experience preferred * Background in a health care field or other work in the health care environment preferred but not mandatory * Writing samples will be required as part of the application Skills Required * Strong writing skills, ideally developed either in pursuit or completion of a Bachelors degree in Journalism, Communications or Marketing * Familiarity with and understanding of web and social media best practices * Familiarity with business use of social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and others * Familiarity with Google Analytics as well as an ability to collect and interpret data; provide recommendations based on these insights * Familiarity with Google AdWords and Facebook Power Editor * Independent, self-starter, curious; an interest in learning about the Digital Health industry and staying on top of developments in this field * Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) * Familiarity with photo editing and/or graphic design software (Photoshop, Illustrator and the like) * Familiarity with video editing software preferred but not mandatory * Excellent communication skills - both oral and written.
