Job title: Healthcare Business Process Project Manager
Location: San Francisco, CA
Contract position

Project Manager to join a Healthcare Program Management Office (PMO) delivering business process improvement projects.

  • Manage activities for complex, strategic healthcare projects from initiation to delivery

  • Work with business managers, stakeholders and other project resources to develop and refine understanding of project budgets, deliverables, resource planning, status etc

  • Ensure that management has updated information about program schedules and budget, project updates, ongoing cost analyses, significant issue management/ resolution and communication, monitoring project status in comparison to cost/time projections

  • Experience in managing healthcare related projects especially business side projects relating to healthcare providers, claims and benefits management, business processes improvements, and change management

  • PMP or training in formal project processes preferred

  • Experience with Microsoft Project and Office

  • Understanding of portfolio management, identifying risks, balancing portfolio projects, monitoring and reporting portfolio

  • BA/ BS degree required

  • Will make recommendations and help implement required process changes with various entities to establish consistency across Driscoll s global platform.
  • Will support Driscoll s business units to achieve their business objectives. Will partner with the information technology, business unit groups to implement information systems required to support business unit growth and profitability objectives.
  • Represent Driscoll s in an ethical and professional manner in all interactions with co-workers, growers, vendors, governmental agencies, and customers of Driscoll s and ensure the confidentiality of all financial, proprietary and confidential information. Will perform other duties related to this role, or to the overall goals of the department and company, as instructed by supervisor.
  • Bachelor s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent plus a minimum of 10 years relevant experience
  • Experience managing product development projects through commercialization
  • Subject Matter Expertise of sales and/or marketing operations experience preferably with a consumer products or agricultural company a strong plus.
  • Broad based project management experience ideally in Sales, Marketing or Supply Chain environments preferred
  • Resourceful and creative with the ability to work independently with little supervision, influence cross functional staff and team members, initiate new ideas, create new systems, train others in new procedures
  • Excellent English verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Ability to direct, manage, plan, and control multiple activities in order to meet project deadlines and quality control standards. Ability to manage up, down, and across, to influence others, resolve conflict, recognize cultural differences and adopt alternative methods.
  • Ability to overcome systemic barriers to change through coaching and mentoring.
  • Valid U.S. Drivers License, passport, and some domestic and international travel required (10% estimated)
