Summary:

This position is field-based, having overall responsibility for the relationship between MDVIP and the affiliated physicians within a designated territory. The primary goal is to focus on increasing awareness of MDVIP in the communities surrounding our affiliates and to grow membership in our affiliate's practices through various marketing efforts. The role also focuses on maximizing membership renewal, as well as supporting the general practice success and profitability. This is achieved by delivering tangible value to each practice within the assigned territory. Substantial overnight travel (approximately 80%) throughout the designated territory is required to successfully meet the requirements of this role.

There is a strong demand for high quality, organized and repeatable results. The responsibilities are broad in scope, encompassing a wide variety of activities requiring rapid shifts in priorities.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducts affiliated-physician office visits based on the needs of the affiliated physician and the activities taking place (recently affiliated, close to renewal, etc.). Demonstrates good judgment to determine the needs of each practice and provides the required support.

  • Works with internal teams, i.e, Marketing, PR, etc. to develop and execute programs to maximize membership growth.

  • Leads the roll-out of key MDVIP initiatives and programs to affiliated physicians and communicates regularly with physician's and office staff.

  • Provides targeted training for physician and office staff.

  • Develops, monitors and executes physician specific plans and strategies to ensure practices meets identified goals.

  • Provides physician support for practice relocations. Provides support on space planning and practice setup as necessary.

  • Serves as liaison between affiliated physician practice and MDVIP corporate departments and communicates relevant practice updates/changes within MDVIP.

  • Identifies, plans and executes local physician networking events to drive practice growth.

  • Completes all administrative requirements timely and works within budget.

Job Requirements

Education/Experience/Knowledge:

  • BA degree or higher with degree in business administration, marketing or management

  • Requires a minimum of three years related work experience including account management, marketing, sales, customer service, practice management, training, or clinical work.

  • Demonstrated experience interfacing with physicians in a professional capacity is required.

  • Ability to conduct professional, compelling sales presentations (formal and informal).

  • Ability to establish credibility with physician and staff and sell ideas/concepts for a win-win result.

Computer Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Performs advanced Excel features such as filters, custom sorting, data validation and pivot tables. Proficient in use of Microsoft Outlook / Calendaring. Learns new software easily
