THIS POSITION IS NOT REMOTE. Bachelors degree in Accounting is REQUIRED – CPA licensure a plus 7-10 Years Prior Accounting Experience in a Healthcare/Not for Profit setting Audit Experience Strong Excel Skills – Reports, Analytics, Data Manipulation Technology Driven Strong Management/Mentoring Skills Time Management and Organizational Skills Excellent Communication Skills both Written and Oral Oversees a current staff of 2 direct reports. Position is responsible for daily cash management and reporting, audit management, monthly reconciliations including but not limited to:
Prepare and analyze the hospital’s financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Journal entries are timely and accurate. Treasury duties to include daily, weekly and monthly cash reporting.
Maintain internal controls to safeguard the hospital’s financial assets and ensure the integrity of its financial data. Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits, providing all necessary financial records and explanations to facilitate the audit process. Ensure the timely and accurate completion of all monthly reports including bank reconciliations.
