As a Healthcare Senior Analyst you will contribute to a wide variety of complex projects involving the contracting, pricing, and financial modeling of a full array of value based care programs, for both providers and insurers. You will interface with vendors and key clients internally and externally, create client deliverables, and ensure quality standards are met.

As a Senior Analyst with our firm you can expect to gain tremendous exposure to all facets of provider and health insurance company operations.

There is a preference for the successful candidate for this position to be located in either New York, NY, Philadelphia, PA or Denver, CO, however, we are open to other locations for the right candidate.



o Meet revenue and billable hour goals established with your manager

o Contribute to sales and marketing efforts by drafting proposals and responding to RFPs

o Directly contribute to clients' success through applying your technical expertise


o Partner with Consultants to deliver superior project management on select clients:

o Interface with colleagues from other practices and regions on assignments that reflect the client's broader business issues

o Develop a trusted advisor relationship with client contacts through effective communication and efficient, quality execution of projects

o Draft statements of work, project plans and budgets involving multiple workflow streams and client teams

o Serve as the day to day project lead, ensuring the progress of the team against established objectives, budget, timeline, deliverables and quality standards

o Serve as primary, daily contact to clients on delivery of services

o Manage client expectations and raise appropriate issues to Consultants and Senior Consultants


o Provide financial analysis on complex projects including contract reviews, financial modeling of contracts terms, fee schedule development, performance benchmarking, network analysis and pricing

o Contribute to the development of new tools, software and approaches which help our clients improve business performance

o Key areas of focus will include pricing and financial modeling tools and software for provider risk-taking clients


o Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams

o Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels

o Serve as mentor to Analysts


o 3+ years of experience and success in healthcare pricing, analytics or financial management gained in a consulting or healthcare insurer environment

o Experience with provider risk contracts and ACO development strongly desired

o Sense of accountability; owning one's work and taking pride in it

o Ability to ask the right questions and seek help where appropriate

o Self starter; interest in continually challenging oneself and willingness to step outside of one's comfort zone

o Interest and ability to think beyond the task at hand and understand how one's work fits into the broader landscape

o Strong analytical and integrative skills including ability to draw conclusions and identify trends from data in a logical, systematic way

o Strong written and verbal communication skills

o Strong interpersonal and team skills

o Strong analytical and creative skills

o Advanced knowledge of Excel required, working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word recommended, SAS and/or SQL programming knowledge a plus

o Pursuit of FSA preferred
