Overview

The Healthcare Account Executive (Healthcare AE) is field-based business development representative responsible for account based selling to a network of professional referral sources for A Place for Mom. Healthcare AE's identify current or potential referral sources inside their assigned/owned accounts and educate, nurture and develop relationships in a defined market. A professional referral source is a person or organization that is in a position to come in contact with anyone who has a need for senior living services and would refer them to A Place for Mom. The Healthcare AE is responsible for creating and executing a plan for market growth that supports revenue objectives for APFM by increasing our professional referral sources inside their accounts and delighting existing professional referral source relationships. The ability to exercise sound discretion and independent judgment in performing all responsibilities is a must. Responsibilities

  • Incorporate APFM Values into each customer and co-worker interaction.

  • Arrange appointments and call activity with Social Workers, Managers, Community Customers and other healthcare professionals inside their owned accounts to increase new incremental professional referrals and nurture existing relationships to continue organic growth in target market.

  • Build trusting strong relationships that will encourage direct referrals by:

  • Developing professional APFM presence in the market.

  • Educating professionals on our value, process and best practices.

  • Meet all expectations of credentialing to enter any source account including background checks, immunizations and all other requirements.

  • Maintains relationships with customers by providing support, information and guidance that will lead to increased number of referrals.

  • Achieve or exceed quota quarterly and annually.

  • Develop strategies for increasing opportunities to meet and talk to the professionals that will drive your business.

  • Manage and nurture relationships to be the "go to" source of information and resources.

  • Pipeline management: manage lead pipeline on daily basis and accurately record activity and information in CRM.

  • Effectively manage budget for marketing collateral and other customer centric activities.

  • Contribute to team through conference call and local meeting participation.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years business development or Account Based Sales experience in a quota or metrics driven environment: success in outside sales role, focused on healthcare or senior services preferred.

  • Proven ability to maintain quality relationships with a large number of professional referral sources.

  • Strong networking skills.

  • Strong customer relations skills.

  • Strong closing skills- will ask for the business.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Determination to break down barriers to success.

  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.

  • Effective use of social media.

  • Strong time management and organizational skills.

  • Strong computer skills necessary, including Word and Excel and CRM.

  • Ability to travel from time to time outside of local region, for occasional regional or national meeting.

  • Must have reliable transportation.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Compensation

The position is a salaried plus variable bonus, exempt position.

This position requires a 30 minute response time to the Rock Island and Bettendorf Campus. This position will work at both Rock Island and Bettendorf Cath labs. We are seeking someone with OR, ER, Cardiac or ICU experience Utilizing the Nursing Process, coordinates and implements care of patients within an assigned unit of the hospital under the direction of the Nurse Manager/Patient Care Manager. Performs work of considerable difficulty. Represents nursing within Trinity Medical Center and works to improve the health of the communities we serve. Responsibilities Clinical Excellence/Patient Care * Assesses the needs of patients and families, providing appropriate teaching and making the necessary referrals to provide continuity of care. * Develops an individual plan of care using a collaborative approach with the patient/family and health care team. * Promptly completes documentation to assure an accurate legal record of patient's care. * Delivers high quality care utilizing the nursing process while demonstrating knowledge and clinical skills of the specialty required on assigned unit in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards of care. * Utilizes holistic approach (considering biopsychosocial, spiritual, educational, safety, and related criteria) appropriate to the age of the patients and families served in the assigned service area. * Delegates and provides direction for other healthcare providers and hold them accountable for their involvement in the plan of care. * Utilizes critical thinking in making independent judgments, and maintains responsibility and accountability for the knowledge of conditions of assigned patients. * Demonstrates and maintains proficiency in the manual skills and techniques required in the administration of emergency medications used in the Cath Lab including under the direct supervision of the physician. * Demonstrates and maintains proficiency in the manual skills and techniques required to operate specialized equipment in the Cath Lab including, but not limited to the following: * Point of care testing: activated clotting times (ACT), oxygen analysis * Perfusion equipment: intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), Impella heart pump * Coronary interventional equipment: rotational and pulse wave atherectomy * Advanced hemodynamic monitoring systems * Aseptic technique. * Demonstrates and maintains proficiency in the manual skills and techniques required to prepare and maintain sterile fields and to maintain a clean procedure environment. * Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of radiation safety and practice including, but not limited to the following: * Knowledge of advanced imaging systems used in the Cath Lab setting * Use of radiation protection devices and exposure levels for both the associate and patients. * Development & Patient Education * Continues professional development and involvement in professional activities that enhance nursing practice by sharing knowledge through networking and research. * Assess and chooses teaching strategies appropriate to the patient's and their families' age specific needs, culture, gender, readiness to learn and level of comprehension. * Consults appropriate resources within the hospital to provide specialized education. * Demonstrates knowledge that patient and workplace safety is a priority by preventing errors, accidents and infections and reporting potential or actual concerns immediately. * Basic UPH Performance Criteria * Demonstrates the UnityPoint Health Values and Standards of Behaviors as well as adheres to policies and procedures and safety guidelines. * Demonstrates ability to meet business needs of department with regular, reliable attendance. * Employee maintains current licenses and/or certifications required for the position. * Practices and reflects knowledge of HIPAA, JCAHO, OSHA and other federal/state regulatory agencies guiding healthcare. * Completes all annual education and competency requirements within the calendar year. * Is knowledgeable of hospital and department compliance requirements for federally funded healthcare programs (e.g. Medicare and Medicaid) regarding fraud, waste and abuse. Experience: Prefer previous acute care experience. License(s)/Certification(s): Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state. Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state. Must have both Illinois and Iowa licensure. Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Sedation Certification within orientation period.
