Position Summary...
What you'll do...
As a Software Engineer III you will be working with technologists that solve some of the most complex problems at Walmart and building solutions that impact hundreds of millions of people for the world's largest retailer.
About Team:
The Test Environment Management team is responsible for supporting Walmart and SAMS Clubs Pharmacy and infrastructure. They are integral part of the software development lifecycle, ensuring we have the right environment in place for our engineering teams, so they can deliver the best quality applications to our Pharmacies.
What you'll do:
Platform Troubleshooting and Debugging Skills
Automation experiences using scripting and tools
Emerging technologies of Cloud, Distributed computing, and big data
Web Services, API, and REST
Design, develop, and automate Java based applications to support cloud lifecycle management of secure infrastructure orchestration and provisioning
Experience with cloud-based services
CI/CD, Continuous delivery and deployment pipelines.
Database experience, including knowledge of SQL and NoSQL.
Worked/supported customer facing large scale enterprise applications
Understanding of container orchestration
Build dashboards, alerts using Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, ... to monitor applications.
