RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS:

Under general supervision is responsible for helping members with any issues related to their Health and Wellness Benefits and enrolls prospective participants in appropriate programs
The ideal candidate will be a trusted go-to health resource for Health and Wellness programs and answer inbound and place outbound calls regarding Health and Wellness programs.
Handles member questions regarding group; health and wellness solutions and requirements
Engage perspective participants in a discussion around program benefits and enrollments for health and wellness services
Assists with coordination of services with providers
Handles referrals from providers/members
Provides navigation/support for member portal interaction
Schedules initial appointments for members
Administer member satisfaction surveys
Assist in the documentation of departmental procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Graduate or GED equivalent required
Bachelor's degree in a health care related field is preferred.
Continuous learning, as defined by the Company's learning philosophy, is required.
Certification or progress toward certification is highly preferred and encouraged
Two years of experience in healthcare delivery system, provider office, or the insurance industry required
Three to five years' work experience in customer service/sales is required.
Computer skills intermediate/advance is required.
2-3 years' work experience inbound/outbound call center is preferred.
Motivational interviewing experience is preferred.
Experience with working in the Care Advance platform is preferred.

VIEW JOBS Job DescriptionUnder the direction of the Director of the Senate Business Office (SBO) and supervised by the Employee Engagement & Project Coordinator, the Employee Engagement Assistant performs a variety of administrative functions, including recruiting and interviewing prospective employees, facilitating the performance review process, researching and recommending strategies to improve engagement, and assisting with program design to foster it, such as employee recognition programs, wellness programs, and other activities aimed at creating a positive workplace environment. The Employee Engagement Assistant will also provide high-level administrative support to the SBO.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS<ul><li>Assists with job description development, job postings, recruiting, screening, and interviewingfor open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings</li><li>Assists in the development, implementation, and maintenance of various processes to improve employee engagement, including employee trainings and professional development</li><li>Manages the performance review process, including the 90-Day performance review for new hires/newly promoted individuals and the annual employee performance review process</li><li>Remains informed and aware of institutional operations and initiatives and identifies areas where additional internal employee engagement communication is needed and develop a plan to meet those needs</li><li>Provides guidance to SBO staff related to goal-setting to achieve SBO initiatives on behalf of the Director of the SBO</li><li>Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
