One (1) in the Health Services Information Technology (HSIT) Division located in Martinez, CA.
One (1) in the Quality Unit within the Contra Costa Health Plan (CCHP) located in Martinez, CA.
Please note: This recruitment may fill future vacancies and you may be required to occasionally travel to different locations throughout Contra Costa County.
Health Services Administrator
The Health Services Information Technology (HSIT) Division: Provides a full range of services to the entire Contra Costa County organization such as managing the central corporate computing complex, a County Wide Area Network (WAN), and numerous Local Area Networks (LANs).
The Contra Costa Health Plan (CCHP) Division: Measures and improves the quality of care provided to our members. CCHP strives to provide services that are safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable.

What you will typically be responsible for:
Position at Health Services Information Technology:
You will coordinate, prioritize, and assign incoming work to the 35+ staff BI/Analytics team.
You will play the role of Scrum Master for BI/Analytics team and lead daily scrum, sprint planning, and sprint retrospective.
You will act as the Report Librarian and be the first point of contact for new data requests and identify appropriate existing reports.
You will support Jira implementation.
You will perform other IT administrative requests and ensure processes are running smoothly.
Position at Contra Costa Health Plan:
You will create and monitor data-driven reports.
You will plan, organize, and direct a healthcare program and determine program goals and activities to reach those goals.
You will establish program policies and procedures, as well as supervise professional and clerical program staff.
You will ensure compliance with all legal mandates and the control of quality of staff and service delivery.

Minimum Qualifications
PLEASE ATTACH PROOF OF YOUR EDUCATION (DEGREE AND/OR TRANSCRIPTS) TO YOUR APPLICATION
Education: Possession of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Business Administration, Public Administration, Hospital Administration/Social Work, Welfare Administration, Finance or a closely related field.
Substitution for the required degree: Successful completion of at least 60 semester or 90 quarter units from an accredited college or university which included courses in English Composition, Social Science, Behavioral Science and mathematics transferable to the California State University System for credit, and two (2) years of full-time (or the equivalent of full-time) experience performing administrative duties in a health service agency or program.
Substitution for the required academic major: Either one (1) year of full-time (or the equivalent of full-time) experience performing administrative duties in a health service agency or program, or possession of a master's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Hospital Administration, Welfare Administration, Finance or a closely related field may be substituted for the academic major.
Experience: At least 18 months full-time (or the equivalent of full-time) experience performing administrative duties in a health service agency or program is required.
Substitution: Possession of a master's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Public Health, Hospital Administration/Social Work, Welfare Administration, Finance or a closely related field may be substituted for one (1) year of the required experience.
Desirable Qualifications:
Experience working in local government
Experience in Healthcare
Certified in Healthcare Privacy
Experience in Managed Care reporting and project management
Possession of a master's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Public Health, or a closely related field
Knowledge of Department of Health Care Services and Department of Managed Care Health Plan regulatory requirements
Selection Process
1.Application Filing and Evaluation: All applicants will be required to complete a supplemental questionnaire at the time of application. Applications will be evaluated to determine which candidates will move forward in the next phase of the recruitment process.
2.Behavioral Consistency Questionnaire (BCQ) Assessment: Candidates who possess the minimum qualifications will be invited to participate in an online assessment. The online assessment will measure candidates' competencies as they relate to the job and candidates must achieve an average passing score of 70% or higher on each of the competencies, as well as an overall passing score of 70% or higher. These competencies may include but are not limited to: Action & Results Focused (taking the initiative), Critical Thinking, Decision Making, Leadership, and Project Management. (Weighted 100%)
The online Behavioral Consistency Questionnaire (BCQ) assessment is tentatively scheduled to take place via computer (remotely) sometime during the week of April 8, 2024.
