GENERAL DUTIES

  • Performs basic physical exams such as taking temperature, pulse rate, oxygen levels, etc. to determine patient's health status prior to directing them to the attending physician.

  • Welcomes patients and visitors to the hospital. Provides information and directions to locations throughout the hospital for patients and guests.

  • Provides patient information in compliance with the HIPAA requirements and organizational privacy policies.

  • Assists in improving patient satisfaction. Anticipates family needs and resolves issues before they become major source of concern.

  • Receives guest suggestions, complaints and escalates through proper channels.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Required: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent OR 2 years of work experience.
