LICENSED TEACHER VACANCY

HEALTH SCIENCES (CTE) TEACHER - FALCON HIGH SCHOOL

Starting Date:

July 29, 2020

New Teacher/Licensed Staff Orientation:

New teaching/new licensed staff orientation will be held on July 24, 27, and 28, 2020

Experience:

District 49 credits each year of verified full-time/full-year K-12 teaching experience up to 15 years.

Work Schedule:

182 contracted work days

Interviews are site-based and not conducted by the Human Resources office.

Qualifications and Expectations:

  • BA/BS from accredited college or university

  • Valid Colorado teaching license endorsed in area of assignment: Secondary Science OR

  • a valid CO licensed endorsed in another area AND passing exam scores PRAXIS II - exam #5435 OR

  • a valid CO license endorsed in another area and 36 or more semester hours in Science

  • HR to review transcripts and make determination OR
  • a valid CO license endorsed in another area and a BA/BS or higher major in Science
  • HR to review transcripts and make determination
  • CTE Authorization in Health Science
