Under supervision, this position provides health education programs in accordance with the CareLink NM service model to help eligible behavioral health clients of all ages to achieve and maintain healthy lifestyles. Supports effective integration, coordination and transition of health care services.
Bachelor's degree in Health Education, Health Promotion, Health Care, Human Services, Education or related field.
One year experience in education or training field including development and delivery of curriculum.
Experience in health education and wellness coaching strongly preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Positive role model in demonstrating healthy behaviors.
Bilingual (English / Spanish) or (English / Navajo) preferred.

According to PMS Human Resources Policy 205.006, "Healthcare Personnel Testing & Immunization Requirements," this position must comply with required testing and immunizations. Testing and immunizations including TB, Hepatitis B (consent or waiver), Tdap, MMR, and Varicella, will be available at the employee's PMS health center. Influenza vaccines will be required according to dates set by the CDC and NMDOH.
