Health Project Analyst and Scrum Master

The Opportunity:

As a Project Analyst and Scrum Master, you're passionate about outcomes and supporting a development team that's creating efficiency in critical projects. You know the importance of Agile best practices and how to combat challenges early to get work done. We need a Project Analyst and Scrum Master like you to create solutions that will ensure the availability of safe and effective medical devices. You will work with program leadership in performing tactical planning through regular interactions with SMEs, internal team members, schedules, clients, and external entities. Be prepared to move quickly in a fast-paced and fluid environment to drive Agile development in defining project roadmaps, establish project milestones, and implement metrics to track progress, while bringing people together to make a tangible difference.

On our team, you'll apply your functional knowledge to coach a development team to focus on sprint goals, ensuring the project is successfully progressed. You'll apply basic Scrum principles and concepts to resolve routine problems. Using tools like JIRA and Smartsheet, you'll strengthen sustainable process improvements to help your team accomplish sprint planning, sprint management, and support the overall technical mission delivery.

In this role, you'll directly impact federal health agencies by helping establish AI-ready data and deliver AI solutions. This is an opportunity to grow your experience in scrum processes for IT projects, project planning, schedule management, requirements tracking, and more.

You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience with project management or as a Scrum Master

  • Experience with Agile processes and Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, grooming sessions, and retrospectives

  • Experience in documenting and tracking tasks and risks, organizing status information, communicating with various stakeholders, and assisting in the development of plans and schedules

  • Ability to monitor, maintain, and report project schedules

  • Ability to coordinate data calls or requests through clear and concise reporting with definitive objectives and deadlines for senior leadership

  • Ability to be detail-oriented, organized, flexible, proactive, and adaptable to changing client priorities as unexpected issues and challenges arise

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with healthcare or the medical device industry

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Agile Scrum Master Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
