Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and three years of experience in the administration of personnel, fiscal, or other related operational activity; OR an Associate's degree and five years of such experience; OR seven years of such experience. At least one year of experience must have included supervision of staff and/or program management. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in a related field and at least two years of experience working in public health and/or public administration/management; at least two years of experience in HIV/STD/HCV prevention programming; at least one year of experience managing contracts/grants with not for profits; at least one year of experience in the development of written materials including program reports, evaluations and/or monitoring reports; at least one year of experience in budget management/analysis/development; at least one year of experience in HIV/STD/HCV prevention or public health program data analysis/management and quality improvement; experience using a grants management system; experience using SharePoint databases.

Responsibilities

The Health Program Administrator I located in the Bureau of Special Populations will participate in initiatives and projects with a focus on prevention and support services for HIV positive women and women who engage in high risk behaviors. The incumbent will be responsible for program and contract management; conduct site visits and evaluate contracts to ensure initiatives/projects are achieving key performance measures; participate in assigned teams, committees and work groups; develop written materials; participate in program planning and development; other appropriate related duties.

Conditions of Employment

Grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.

Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Essential Job Functions and Duties: * Assists to ensure the submission application, within Survey Monkey Apply, is functional and provides a smooth late applicant experience. * Tracks all Theatre Lab applicants accurately in Survey Monkey Apply and Google Sheets as directed. * Proactively reviews Theatre Lab submissions to confirm required information and materials are included and reaches out to applicants to request missing information accordingly. * Assigns artist projects to contracted readers for evaluation. * Reads through and tracks reader evaluations of projects and ensures they are meeting deadlines. * Facilitates intake and processing of Reader invoices as directed. * Other duties as assigned. Position Requirements: * Legal authorization to work in the United States. * 1-2 years experience in art non-profit program administration or related. * Outstanding communication skills, verbal and written. * Strong interpersonal and professional skills required to work effectively with a variety of people. * Excellent organizational skills including self-management of work schedule. * Must be able to maintain confidential information. * Ability to work nights and weekends around events and key deadlines. * Detail-oriented, able to audit work to avoid mistakes and perform tasks accurately. * Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. * Proficiency within Google Suite products (documents, sheets, forms, etc.) Preferred Education, Experience and Skills: * Interest and/or experience in theatre, including knowledge of the NYC theatre scene.
