Laboratory results impact 75% of the medical diagnostic process. As we proactively take the challenge to improve the quality of healthcare in Arizona, our Sales/Marketing and Health Plan team is actively looking for ways to improve cost and operational performance to benefit our customers.
1.Daily administration of local HPPM (Health Plan and Payer Market) contacts. Builds relationships at local Health Plan organization with mid to senior level staff.
2.Develops proposals which meet the needs of the Health Plan, link to the achievement of Sonora Quest business goals, and ensure compliance with company policy and government regulations.
3.Negotiates new contracts with HPPM.
4.Reviews and maximizes existing contracts. Partners with Finance to increase current contract status; renegotiate contracts to ensure equitable balance between business profitability and customer satisfaction.
5.Validates contract set-up to ensure contracts are properly implemented. Monitors and ensures customer satisfaction with on-going service provided. Builds internal and external communication networks; schedules meetings with Management and Health Plan.
6.Interfaces with Finance/billing management and Health Plan to address billing/claims trends to ensure timely and accurate payment; Interfaces with Sales team on field visits to assist with Health Plan concerns and compliance.

BA/BS in business, marketing or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
At least 5 years' experience in business development and/or sales/marketing.
Proven selling skills particularly with large accounts, preferably in the Health Plan Payer market.
Outstanding negotiation skills- ability to drive for win-win solutions.
Excellent communication and collaboration ability.
Requires valid Arizona driver's license.
