Health Plan Analyst

Demonstrate a solid acumen of engagement with senior leadership in establishing strategy, vision, and approach related to managed care. Directly supports the Health System with identifying and resolving payer issues by researching, analyzing, and presenting financial information regarding reimbursement trends.

This includes compilation of rate data for managed care contract rate modeling and negotiations and contract compliance monitoring. The Health Plan Analyst will lead the employer group strategy and the implementation. Qualifications: Bachelor#s degree required in Finance, Healthcare or other Business related field.

Masters preferred. Three years# experience working with Managed Care contract language and Health Plan policies and procedures. Three years financial experience with a healthcare organization (financial analysis work, experience with hospital and physician reimbursement terms, payer/plan experience). Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
