Position Overview:

Market Access is a key function in the adoption and commercialisation of Insulet products and has an essential role in ensuring that people with diabetes can access highly innovative products for the management for their condition. The HOV Specialist role sits in the International Value and Access Group reporting in to the Director of Value.

This role will interface with many different departments to incorporate effective HEOR strategies into their market access plans to gain reimbursement, support policy and to protect or build price. They will also collaborate with the countries on the generation and dissemination of HEOR data and creation of economic modelling covering budget impact analyses and cost effectiveness, that is meaningful in country, taking into account the local perspective, and also cross-country, taking advantage of synergies in methodological approach, to support reimbursement submissions.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with local market access teams to understand and synthesise requirements for real world evidence and localisation of economic analyses, accounting for health system characteristics and population needs

  • Collaborate with medical affairs and development teams to support evidence generation and provide HEOR input for International.

  • Budget Impact Modelling and Cost Effectiveness Analysis (CEA) models, including in house development of original analyses and adaptation of existing excel based models to meet local requirements

  • Provide review of RWE generation and economic analysis done locally

  • Provide Health Outcomes expertise and base HO and value content for country reimbursement submissions and support localisation

  • Engage with local market access teams to support the dissemination and use of economic analyses

  • Support the creation of health economic content to be used in submissions to payers and technology appraisal bodies

  • Support the execution of a publication plan and ensures proper dissemination and communication of the evidence in peer-review journals and at scientific conference

  • Develop economic analyses to address specific questions on the economic impact of use of Insulet products

  • Implement programs for improving organisational market access and healthcare value-based capabilities

Required Leadership/Interpersonal Skills & Behaviours

  • Ability to influence without authority across functional areas

  • Proficiency in health economic modelling, definition and design, programming (excel), approval and dissemination

  • Ability to prioritize and drive for results with an emphasis on quality.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate at multiple levels of an organization.

  • Ability to provide and analyse performance driven data.

  • Able to take large amounts of complex information and establish what is important.

  • Ability to generate and maintain accurate records.

  • Strong computer proficiency and experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Strategic mind-set and open-minded to foster innovation

  • Proven business experience working within HEOR across the payer and payer influencer stakeholder group

  • In-depth understanding of health policy and HEOR publication strategies

  • Capacity to lead and deliver projects independently

  • Experience working on Global Value Dossiers and or submissions to payers and technology appraisal bodies

  • Skilled in developing and articulating value propositions to clinical and non-clinical healthcare stakeholders

  • Competent in appraising and synthesising clinical and economic information

  • Experience working within and developing different distribution channels advantageous

  • Fluent in English

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in relevant area

  • Demonstrated experience in pharmaceutical and/ or medical device space.

  • EU or Global experience is required.

Additional Information

  • Flexible location: UK /France/Germany/Netherlands/Belgium

  • The position can be remote, hybrid or in-person at our offices in Hammersmith London.

  • Travel is estimated up to 40% but will flex depending on business need.
