Health Enhancement Teacher - 1.0 FTE 

2024-2025 Salary Range: $46,813-$68,815 or appropriate placement on salary schedule.  Benefits available.

Description:

This position is responsible for teaching three blocks of health enhancement each day on an alternating block schedule.   Thorough understanding of the Montana State Standards in health enhancement is required.

  The teacher will be a member of an interdisciplinary team and a contributing member of the school's content area team.  Familiarity with standards-based instruction, learning and assessment is valuable.  Willingness to collaborate with colleagues is a must.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have, or be willing to obtain, a current Montana teaching certificate in elementary education or health/phsycial education by the start of the 2024-2025 school year.  Previous experience teaching middle school students is preferred.

Working Conditions:

It is anticipated that the position will include teaching multiple blocks of health enhancement each day.
