Health Information Management Representative

Health Information Management Technician will ensure the quality of the patient's medical record by verifying the accuracy and proper entry into the electronic health record system. Performs document imaging/scanning, document indexing and quality assurance of the electronic record while maintaining patient privacy and security. Provides a high level of customer service in coordinating patient information through all caregivers, clinical departments, and billing departments according to the organization's policy and procedure.

Preferred qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Course in health information technology or health sciences
• 1 year Health information management experience
