A career in our Human Resources team, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to make a difference at PwC by helping to fully leverage the skills and talents of all our people. You'll focus on helping the local offices in driving the Firm's people strategy, creating a unique people experience for each individual, and supporting our Firm wide values by working with the core competencies that measure and drive individual and Firm wide success in the marketplace. As part of our Policy, Strategy and Leadership team, you'll provide strategic oversight, manage operations, and develop policies for all aspects of the Human Resources team.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Directors and above

  • Be involved in the financial management of clients

  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients

  • Develop project strategies to solve complex technical challenges for our clients

  • Manage and deliver large projects by developing the project team, assessing engagement risks throughout, driving conclusions, and reviewing / challenging the output produced by the team

  • Shape and deliver projects to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients and our own quality criteria

  • Train, coach, and supervise team members

  • Continue to develop internal relationships and developing your PwC brand

Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success in a professional services environment as a team leader:

  • Liaising with the market/vertical/functional teams and key stakeholders to enable firm and/or business unit strategies;

  • Maintaining strong working relationships with key business partners;

  • Identifying effectiveness and efficiency opportunities to drive continuous improvement in the execution of people strategy;

  • Establishing goals and conduct analysis of actual results against targeted for key HC priorities;

  • Executing campus and experienced recruiting lifecycles;

  • Communicating sourcing strategy to talent acquisition teams and oversee execution of team efforts (including Intern and Campus hire training);

  • Liaising with sourcing teams to assess effectiveness of support services;

  • Developing an onboarding strategy and related effectiveness metrics enabled through technology, systems and process protocols;

  • Working with HR Leadership to create ways to connect new hires to the business within their first 6 months;

  • Managing multiple workstreams within the team;

  • Determining and managing team activity workflow and job priorities;

  • Driving prioritized and consistent usage of programs/files/processes;

  • Coaching and developing team member skills as necessary;

  • Collaborating with a network of key client and stakeholders; manage and maintain relationships for collaboration;

  • Performing project management tools and methodologies;

  • Defining and managing outreach protocol as it relates to acquisitions with relevant stakeholders (if applicable);

  • Driving next steps within an acquisition (if applicable) including defining success factors, people needs, specific skills and communications to drive success; and,

  • Coordinating systems support solutions with IT and key stakeholders to drive development and implementation of appropriate solutions in support of Firm and/or Human Capital priorities.

Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success in a professional services environment utilizing an array of digital skills to drive higher value, lower cost, and a tech-enabled learning experience, including:

  • Using design thinking (including persona development, affinity mapping, journey mapping, and prototyping);

  • Using agile project management techniques (including sprint planning, backlog management and sprint review);

  • Maintaining knowledge of current and emerging human capital technology trends and experience innovating with new HC technology tools;

  • Analyzing data and communicating data insights to drive decision making (leveraging market leading tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, etc.); and,

  • Leveraging the Google suite of tools to drive efficiency, productivity, and collaboration.

As a Talent Partner you will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, screening and managing bookkeeping industry professionals for our Supporting Strategies Partners' Franchise locations. This person will work closely with the franchise hiring managers to understand their business and staffing requirements, ensuring the highest quality of candidates are presented in the most time effective manner. The Talent Partner will collaborate with other members of the Talent Team, exercising sound judgment while performing in a fast-paced work environment. The Talent Partner is an energetic and collaborative recruiter who has a demonstrated track record of creatively sourcing potential candidates, guiding applicants through the hiring process and working with management to develop hiring strategies. This individual must be a goal-oriented talent acquisition professional with superior communication skills and the ability to prioritize. Responsibilities The successful candidate will: * Build strong trusted advisor relationships with hiring managers, providing ongoing advice regarding networking and talent acquisition practices. * Understand candidate requirements by studying job descriptions and job qualifications, requires the ability to understand bookkeeping terminology. * Develop and implement recruiting strategies for various regional locations/franchises. * Leverage professional networking, database leads, internet resources, social media, direct sourcing techniques, alumni organizations and professional sites to source candidates. * Develop an active pool of candidates who are ready to meet the needs of our organization. * Determine applicant qualifications by comparing qualifications to job requirements, interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying applicants accounting and predictive index (behavioral assessment) results, verifying references and completing background checks. * Ensure a positive, professional candidate experience throughout the talent acquisition process. * Arrange phone and/or video interviews, connecting top candidates with hiring managers by coordinating schedules. * Consult with hiring managers regarding headcount planning, new hire selection, initial on-boarding processes and any retention issues. * Train hiring managers on interviewing skills, talent acquisition process, and retention practices. * Manage candidate and job information in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) database and ensure that all administrative work is done in a timely manner as candidates flow through the applicant process. * Conform to and excel at standard operating procedures. * Other duties and additional projects as assigned.
