JOB PURPOSE:

Students will intern with a community partner on special projects and support work. This posting is intended for students who have found and and secured an internship independently.

To be eligible for funding, student must apply to and meet the requirements for Health + Humanities Internship Funding.

PREREQUISITES FOR ELIGIBILITY:

  • A preference for students with some experience working with community engagement

  • Resume, uploaded

  • Cover letter, uploaded

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Internship with community partner; this may include:

  • Conduct research

  • File/organize office materials and archives

  • Share reception duties

  • Compile/copy/prepare mailings

  • Complete general office duties, including shredding, filing, data entry, etc.

  • Work on special projects

  • Other duties as assigned

RESPONSIBILITY TOWARDS DIVERSITY:

  • Ability to honor and work with all identities and individuals, particularly those who are underrepresented in the country and/or at Lewis & Clark College.

SCHEDULE:

  • Part time funding up to 10 weeks in the summer

RATE OF PAY:

  • $15.45 per hr

WORK STUDY REQUIREMENT:

  • No work-study required

Eligibility to Work
