Essential Functions:
We seek an enthusiastic, open-minded teacher with a growth mindset to join our team of dedicated teachers. The ideal candidate will be a strong, collaborative team member who is committed to continuing working on their teaching practice through professional development both individually and as a team. They should be able to listen to both students and colleagues with the goal of understanding others' ideas, with an emphasis on reflective teaching.

Qualifications:
Candidates should have strong personal health & wellness knowledge and be familiar with National Health Education Standards. Applicants must be well versed in and ready to implement the Common Core State Standards and best teaching practices. Vermont Teacher Licensure.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Bachelor's Degree; Master's Degree in Education preferred or commensurate lived experience with qualifications
Proficient technology skills
Excellent collaboration and behavior management skills
Understanding of, experience in, and commitment to a Multi-Tiered System of Support
Ability to promote and maintain positive relationships with students, colleagues and families
Confident in one's ability to manage student intervention plans
Ability to regularly analyze data and monitor student progress
Collaboratively plan and coordinate instruction with Special Education staff
Interest, willingness, and/or experience integrating and advancing practices of diversity, equity and inclusion
