Requirements / Qualifications

Work location will split between 50% ECE Baldwin Park and 50% Tri Cities Office. Example: The applicant will work 3 days out of the week at ECE Baldwin Park and 2 days at Tri Cities Office.

While this position remains open to all applicants, priority will be given to BPUSD employees. Nevertheless, all are encouraged to apply. The Baldwin Park Unified School District is recruiting for a Health Clerks.

The Health Clerks are under the general supervision to assist school nurses, provide immediate first aid, to perform general clerical duties and to assist in health care screenings. THIS RECRUITMENT MAY BE USED TO FILL FUTURE VACANCIES Selection Process: The selection process tentatively consists of the District application screening process, Clerical Proficiency Exam and Interviews.

The proficiency exam will be given to qualified applicants only. Minimum Requirements: (a) One (1) year of clerical experience or working with students (b) Must have successfully passed the District Clerical Proficiency Exam (c) Valid CPR and First Aid Certificates (d) Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school (e) Possession of a valid California Drivers License and Insurance, Must have a vehicle to travel to school sites as part of this assignment Preferences: • Bilingual (Spanish) The following must be submitted with your on-line application for interview consideration:
