CCI Health & Wellness Services is a group practice that empowers patients to partner with staff for an unparalleled healthcare experience. We provide services to the medically under-served at 14 sites in Montgomery and northern Prince George's counties in Maryland. Our services include primary care, behavioral health, dental, adolescent health, HIV and infectious disease testing and treatment, prenatal, and family planning. CCI Health & Wellness Services is also the largest provider of WIC services in the state of Maryland.
CCI Health and Wellness providers are insured under the Federal Tort Claims Act. We are an approved site for the NHSC loan repayment program.
The Health Center Medical Director (HCMD) will assist the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) in leading the clinical operations at our Silver Spring location. In conjunction with other site leaders, the HCMD ensures the delivery of safe, high quality, evidence-based medicine. S/He supports the agency's immediate and long-range strategic planning initiatives and is integral to the successful achievement of organizational results.
Deliver primary health care to a multicultural, multilingual patient population in an outpatient, ambulatory care setting.
Manage physicians and mid-level practitioners in the delivery of evidence based clinical care.
Provide on-site supervision, coaching, mentoring and assistance to provider staff as needed.
Conduct annual evaluations and provide recommendations for promotion and performance improvement.
Precept residents, medical students, and advanced practice students.
Promote and foster an atmosphere of teamwork and excellence among staff.
Participate in coordinating provider scheduling and coverage.
Leads monthly meetings with site providers and contributes to the planning and execution of quarterly all-staff meetings
Provide accurate time keeping for staff. Monitor and regulate use of Paid Time Off.
Valid license to practice medicine in the State of MD, valid Maryland CDS and DEA licenses, and be Board Certified in Family Medicine.
Experience in the development and management of quality, risk and utilization review processes.
Demonstrated leadership skills.
Being bi-lingual in English and Spanish is preferred
