Manages daily operations of Primary Care/Health Center. Responsibilities to include patient flow, patient satisfaction, registration accuracy, policy implementation, regulatory compliance, staff selection, staff performance management and employee discipline. Point of contact for all staff of assigned Health Center(s).
Assumes responsibility for maximizing revenue and minimizing expense while assuring optimum patient care and experience. Works closely with Health Center Leadership Team and providers to facilitate operating efficiencies. Collaborates with other Health Center/Clinic Managers to optimize staffing as needed and to ensure appropriate provider, nursing and clerical staffing.
The job requires a person with the organizational and managerial skills to direct the Health Center(s) on daily basis to ensure the implementation of those items necessary to improve patient flow and patient experience, improve efficiency, increase revenue, lower overhead and assist in the planning for growth and expansion.
Bachelors Degree preferred. Three to five years medical office experience required.
Previous supervisory/management experience in a medical office/hospital setting required. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills as well as demonstrated knowledge of the day-to-day operations of medical practice is essential. Microsoft Office experience required. Experience with ECW and Meditech preferred.
