Wipfli LLP is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for our National Health Care Practice. This individual will create robust Excel based financial and reimbursement models for our health care clients such as hospitals, physician clinics, Medicare Certified Rural Health Clinics ambulatory surgery centers and other types of health care providers.

Wipfli also creates business intelligence information using a variety of BI tools which we use to assist our clients in understanding a variety of market, financial and profitability indicators. This position will be integral in obtaining and reviewing de-identified health care claims data and analyzing trends to assist our clients with strategic decision making. Ideally, this position will be based in our Green Bay, Wisconsin office, however location is flexible.

Responsibilities

  • Create robust financial models for health care clients using Excel and other software tools Create robust reimbursement models for hospitals, clinics and a variety of other provider types Research Medicare and other payer reimbursement systems and incorporate information into Excel and other models for consulting projects Plan and manage multiple projects at any given time

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance, possibly with a Master of Health Care Administration Three to five years' experience working directly with health care financial and reimbursement systems. Strong Excel based and other analytical skills Strong financial modeling skills including creation of complex financial models and financial projections An understanding of health care billing systems and health care claims processing systems for PPS hospitals, Critical Access Hospitals, clinics, ambulatory surgery centers and other provider types would be beneficial.
