The Details:

Location: Headquartered in Downtown Seattle, remote work possible from AZ, CA, CO, FL, OR, TN, VA, WA

Work Schedule: Our typical business hours are 8:30-5:00 Monday-Friday.

Travel Requirements: Up to 10%, with occasional trips to the office.

About the Position:

Reporting to the Manager of Benefit Administrative Programs, the Senior Program Manager will lead work that builds on Trust strategy that increases the access and value of care, improves the health and safety of participants, and advances Trust operational excellence. They will also be the primary individual to help create new project plans in response to the ever-changing landscape of healthcare rules, regulations, and compliance requirements.

The HBT Senior Program Manager centers our caregivers in our benefit and program development, considering social, institutional, and systemic barriers to caregiver access and wellbeing. This role is responsible for strategic working partnerships, both externally and internally, including carriers, vendors, employers, shared services teams, and our third party administrator.

You Will:

  • Lead with influence in a matrixed environment to drive work and projects between internal and external contributors, stakeholders, and partners;

  • Communicate progress on Trust projects, metrics and risks to internal and external stakeholders;

  • Think strategically about healthcare problems within the caregiver population and use your knowledge of project management and process improvement strategies to develop and drive innovative solutions;

  • Implement large scale, special projects applying continuous process improvement principles;

  • Respond to changing healthcare rules and regulations to ensure the Health Benefits Trust is in compliance;

  • Work closely with Trust Third Party Administrator and vendor partners on operational issues that impact caregivers and act as an escalation pathway and Subject Matter Expert for Health Benefits Trust-related matters;

  • Review relevant customer service trends and operational data to assess future program direction;

  • Help develop and deploy processes, procedures and trainings;

  • Monitor and report on key service indicators for stakeholder groups to measure the quality and efficiency of program service delivery and customer satisfaction;

  • Be assigned other duties commensurate with the level of this position.

You Will Need to Have:

  • 3-5 years of experience in metric-based customer service or benefits administration;

  • Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills, including the ability to think strategically about issues impacting caregivers and how we can creatively address them through health benefits, customer service processes and program operations;

  • Demonstrated ability to scope a project, develop a timeline, mitigate risks and escalate successes and concerns as appropriate;

  • Effective oral and written communication skills with a focus on building and maintaining effective partnerships with key stakeholders;

  • Strong group facilitation skills, diplomacy, and ability to interface effectively with external partners and caregivers;

  • Demonstrated experience facilitating the work of cross-functional teams;

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and leverage resources across departments as well as maintain strict attention to detail;

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Internet, websites, and browser;

  • Willingness to learn new technology such as our TPA Portal;

  • Demonstrated track record of making high impact process improvements;

  • Ability to work independently.

It Will Be Great if You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in applicable subject area;

  • Experience in project management;

  • Experience in the health industry;

  • Advanced Excel.

Salary Range:

  • $89,356 - $100,571
