Job Summary:

Horizon BCBS seeks a self-directed Health and Network Solutions intern to support Network Strategy, Provider Contract Administration and Process Improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Undertakes an internship designed to provide on-the-job training and experience.

• Engage in various work assignments, projects, and activities of varying complexity, structured to enable the intern to gain the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities needed to perform at a professional level.

• Undertake and/or participates in projects and programs designed to develop professional skills and expertise appropriate to the needs of the organization.

• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

• Manage claim stop submissions and removals with direction of Contract Administration team.

• Track professional contract audits and follow up with business analysts as needed.

• Assist with process for contract rate loads using SharePoint and Contract Terms Repository.

• Run required reports using current technology (Excel and Access).

Education/Experience:

• Entry Level Role

• Business Major preferred

• Strong verbal and written communication

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work well in teams

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Location: 1700 American Blvd. Pennington, NJ (Hybrid)

Schedule: 8am-5pm (9 hour work day with lunch)

Duration: 11 week program
