Job Description:
Adjunct Health and Fitness instructor position in the Center for Professional Education. Primary responsibility would be developing and teaching one or more courses online courses in the Add-on Health Fitness K-12 Endorsement program.
Requirements:
Master's degree or higher required. Concentration in health fitness, or related disciplines, with minimum three years experience in K-12 setting, including but not limited to classroom instruction or coaching.
Agreement with the Seattle Pacific University Mission.
Comprehensive knowledge of both WA Health and Fitness Competencies and Standards.
Experience teaching online courses preferred.
Health and Fitness curriculum development experience preferred.
Experience with Adaptive PE Methods preferred
Additional Information:
The position will remain open until filled.
Salary: $225/Student
Faculty salaries at Seattle Pacific University are based on nationally-normed, regionally-adjusted, and discipline-specific data from the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR). Specific salary offers will be determined by level of education and years of relevant experience.
