Description


The Pennsylvania State University at Abington is seeking a part-time Head Womens Lacrosse Coach to administer all aspects of a competitive NCAA Division III womens lacrosse program. Duties include but are not limited to: identify, recruit and retain qualified student-athletes; hire and supervise part-time Assistant Coaches, establish a competitive schedule; plan team travel; coordinate practice plans to foster skill development; design coaching strategies to prepare team for competition; establish and enforce rules of conduct; support community service efforts; demonstrate a commitment to diversity; mentor student-athletes to foster athletic, academic, emotional, and social growth; collaborate with athletic and University units to include admissions, financial aid, medical services, academic support, student-athlete services, compliance office; demonstrate adherence to University, North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC), and NCAA rules and regulations.

Work hours will vary depending on the season.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree required plus 1-3 years of intercollegiate coaching experience; CPR/First Aid/AED certified or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications: Master
s degree plus 3-5 years of intercollegiate coaching experience; 1-3 years as a head coach.
