Job Description

The Head Teller provides legendary Customer Service while supervising the Teller and/ or Platform team.


  • Provides exceptional Customer service.

  • Demonstrated competency and accountability with Store operational standards.

  • Provides leadership, conflict resolution, process improvement and communication to the Teller line.

  • Coaches team members on identifying sales opportunities and referring Customers to appropriate Store Employees or internal Business Partners to achieve both store and individual sales revenue goals.

  • Manage Teller Paid Time Off (PTO) within the PTO staffing model.

  • Recruit, interview, train, orient, create conference notes and evaluate Tellers in accordance with HR guidelines.

  • Support, mentor and coach team members in their professional development.

  • Develop and manage team members by recruiting, training and recognizing them.

  • Must be eligible for employment under regulatory standards applicable to the position.


  • 2 year degree or equivalent experience.

  • 2-3 Years of related experience.

  • Completed or enrolled in the Head Teller Achieve program preferred.

  • Maintain current HR and Retail Leadership training requirements.

  • Excellent organization, interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Sound judgment in decision making and problem solving.

  • Ability to multi-task and maintain order on Teller line.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Outlook, Lotus Notes, Word and Excel.

  • Primarily work in assigned Retail Store. Occasional travel required for Classroom Training, On-the-Job Training and regional meetings.

  • Ability to supervise/ lead Teller line.

KWF Team Members Are: * Positive * Supportive * Self-Motivated * Team-Oriented * Hard-Working * Flexible DAILY OPERATIONS: The Cafe Team Member’s primary responsibilities to execute the following. * Provide exceptional customer service to all. * Prepare food and drink in the following stations: espresso, smoothie, fresh juice, made to order. * Support the hot/cold buffet set-up, maintenance and breakdown. * Prep food for, maintain & face the Grab & Go Case. * Stock and maintain the coffee station, soup station & bakery case. * Prep various food items, peel and slice vegetables, slice meats and cheeses. * Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the café including trash, recycling, and eating areas. * Upkeep of sanitary practices and quality control including the cleaning of all stations, tables, counters, utensils, oven, floors and trash. * Adheres to established KWF SOPs for opening and closing Cafe. * Working in collaboration with the Café Department Head to maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage throughout the entire department. KEY ATTRIBUTES: * Good communication skills: oral and written. * Motivated to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. * Thrives as a team player in a fast-paced work environment. * Able to be on your feet for 8 hours. * Excellent time management skills. Hours: Part time/Full time nonexempt status with flexibility to work day, evening and weekend shifts as necessary. Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 40 lbs, and be able to juggle multiple priorities during busy hours. Physical Capabilities: * Full Sense Range (Vision, Hearing, and Sense of Smell) – the ability to read product labels, distinguish color and smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with customers and co-workers. * Lifting, Gripping and Carrying Objects – Up to 50 to 75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools, and other products. * Stooping, Squatting, and Kneeling – Stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts. * Walking – Short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas. * Standing – Prolonged standing. * Work Environment – Movement based with the majority of time being in motion (walking/standing) rather than sedentary (sitting). * Climate – Ability to work in cold environments (cooler, freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.
