About Us:

Colorado College ("CC") is a private, four-year, highly selective liberal arts college of 2,100 undergraduate students and a small master of arts in teaching program. It is located on a 99-acre campus adjacent to downtown, 'Olympic City', Colorado Springs. The campus sits on the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains at the foot of Pikes Peak. The college operates an innovative curricular approach, known as the Block Plan, which entails students taking one course at a time for three and a half weeks, with the academic year divided into eight "blocks." The Colorado College Department of Athletics sponsors 17 varsity programs. Fifteen programs compete at the NCAA Division III level and two at the Division I level. Division III programs are members of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC), with the exception of Men's Lacrosse (independent) and Women's Lacrosse (WIAC affiliate). Division I Men's Hockey is a member of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) and Division I Women's Soccer competes as an affiliate member of the Mountain West Conference (MWC).

Position Summary:

Responsible for the overall management of Colorado College's competitive Division III Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving program to include coaching, training, recruiting and providing leadership while upholding the mission of the department and the institution. Responsibilities for this position include recruit and retain prospective student athletes, prepare and manage the annual budget, organize and administer the appropriate duties to include scheduling, travel and contracting officials, teach team and individual skills connected with team and student-athlete development, hire, manage and evaluate assistant coaches and program staff, support and actively contribute to the goal of achieving greater diversity, inclusion and equity at Colorado College and work effectively with all members of the campus community and work with staff members to develop community outreach programs, correspond with alumni and engage in fundraising and promotion of Colorado College. This position also serves as the Aquatics Director, managing Schlessman Natatorium.
