Head Swim Team Coach

Qualifications:

• Broad background and knowledge in competitive aquatics and coaching a swim team.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• YMCA v6 Lifeguard, CPR-Pro, First Aid, Y Principles of Competitive Swimming and Diving, other league required certifications.

• If not certified, willingness to be trained.

Duties include:

• Hire and develop the coaching staff with regard to training, evaluating, and working as a team

• Develop the team roster, team registration and individual meet achievements.

• Coordinate and work closely with the Parents Boosters and fundraising activities.

Responsibilities include all aspects of the aquatic swim team program including:

• Developing, coordinating, and implementation of all competitive swim program areas

• Customer Service

• Display & promote mission & Character Pillars of The Y

Rate of Pay:

$11.80 - $13.00/hour - commensurate with experience

• Part-time staff receive complimentary memberships and discounted rates for child care and most programs.
