We are accepting applications for the position of Head Start Education Program Director. All applicants must follow one of the following processes:

Process for Out of District Applicants: Out of district applicants are required to complete an on-line application. All requested documents as indicated in the posting must be uploaded to the application.

Process for District Employees: District employees must complete an online administrative application in Frontline. If an employee does not already have an application in Frontline, they will need to create a new user ID and password to apply for the specific position.

Applicants for this position must have the following qualifications and experience:

• Master's degree in Education, Early Childhood, Special Education, or a related field.

• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training for the subject and level assigned required.

• T-TESS Certification or must be obtained within 6 months

• Current CLASS Certification is preferred

• A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in PreK, preferably in Head Start.

• At least (3) three years of leadership experience in early childhood.

• At least (3) three years of experience working with children and families from diverse

cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• Successful experience in managing community events.

• Successful experience creating and presenting professional development.
