POSITION:

Bus Driver

LOCATION:

Heartland Early Education, Salina KS

TERM:

• Approximately 24hrs/week;

• 6 hours/day, Monday- Thursday with occasional Fridays.

• School Year position (147 days/year);

This position has up to 4 routes with breaks in between

• AM, Mid-day, an PM

REQUIREMENTS:

A CDL is required with P and S endorsements with Air Brakes. We will help train the right person!! Must complete a DOT Physical upon hire. Must enjoy working with young children.

Don't have a CDL with P and S endorsements, including Air Brakes? No worries as we will train the right candidate as long as you have your driving permit. We can hire substitutes and train onsite to drive the bus!

DUTIES:

Duties include ensuring that safety procedures are followed, driving pick up/drop off routes, talking with parents and assisting the Monitor with situations or questions. The Bus Monitor provides direction and guidance to the children while on route.

• Classified Range 17: $16.83 - $17.88.
