This foundation builds stronger relationships and leads to higher client satisfaction.

Our Wealth Advisors work with our clients and financial advisors by providing objective, event-driven financial advice focused on each client's whole financial picture. They demonstrate expertise on investment products across equities, fixed income, mutual funds, annuities, as well as trusts and estates, educational needs, and retirement planning. Additionally, they advise on beneficiary designations and legacy planning and/or contingency planning,

This role will lead Wealth Management's Wealth Advisors. The Head of WM Wealth Advisory will set a strategic vision and be responsible for Wealth Advisor engagement across the US. They will coordinate across markets to identify trends/feedback and future needs to better support clients achieve their financial objectives. Finally, they will be critical partner to our National and Regional Leadership teams, Practice Management, Investments & Advice teams, and Client Solutions teams.


  • Results driven, highly motivated self-starter who possesses integrity, a strong work ethic, and a passion for helping clients plan for their financial goals and objectives

  • Strong knowledge of personal, fiduciary, corporate and partnership income tax, with prior experience applying that knowledge specifically to the sophisticated needs of affluent and high net worth clients

  • Ability to evaluate wealth transfer needs and issues of clients and prospects, identify which of the available strategies are appropriate, educate clients and work with clients and professional advisors to determine which recommendations to implement

  • Proven ability to partner with clients' other advisors to include an established, highly respected reputation with the external professional advisor community

  • Ability to communicate sophisticated wealth planning concepts to all levels of clients and prospects

  • Sales experience including: profiling, overcoming objections, negotiation, team selling approach, closing the sale and asking for referrals

  • Demonstrated understanding of wealth management including, but not limited to: investment management, credit and banking

  • Proven track record of team leadership and delivering on large organizational initiatives

  • Collaborative, diverse, and inclusive operating model to invite new perspectives and incorporate expertise from all team members

  • Ability to work in a team based environment and assist in the development and retention of junior team members; recruit, develop and manage top talent


  • 15+ years complex financial planning experience

  • JD and/or CPA preferred

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Recognized expertise in managing the financial needs affluent and high net-worth individuals and/or families

The role is responsible for the development and execution the overall strategy in the region, along with the transformation of the existing relationship management model. The team is comprised of around 300 talented professionals who have responsibility for a total of around USD56B assets under management. Impact on the Business * Responsible for the execution of the WPB Global Strategy in country markets and to deliver against the agreed plan * Ensure activity comply with pertinent regulations, including those related to financial reporting to protect company and customer interest. * Build and supervise client facing team to give direction and guidance in achieving their respective targets and responsibilities * Ensure the customer experience and sale opportunity are optimized within NA proposition * Responsible for the client journey across the customer segmentations Customers / Stakeholders * Identify cross selling opportunities and increase number of successful outward referrals to other business areas of the Group * Maintain highest standard of excellence in client service across the team and with individual portfolio through a range of initiatives.
