The Head of Total Rewards is accountable for the design, delivery, benchmarking, and measurement of the company's total rewards solutions and services. You'll ensure industry leading rewards solutions drive the company's competitiveness, enable high performance of the employees and align to business strategy and culture. This includes:
Job architecture and performance management
Compensation practices for global compensation, executive compensation and equity
Global health and wellness
Other benefits including non-monetary rewards and recognition
Bachelor's degree and 10+ years related work experience required.
Experience in large global financial services organizations with progressive experience in human resources, compensation and/or benefits required.
Experience designing and implementing compensation and benefits programs in a de-centralized, global and publicly traded organization.
Extensive knowledge of a wide variety of compensation and benefit plans, techniques and theories including base salary, merit programs, executive compensation, short-term incentives, equity programs, health and wellness plans, retirement plans and recognition programs.
Experience in directly managing/influencing teams of people.
Must have computer skills and knowledge of human resource systems.
Must have ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy while being detail oriented. Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.
Strong interpersonal, organization, business communication and time management skills.
High level of initiative and ability to structure ambiguity. Strong project management skills.
Strong attention to detail and follow up skills.
Ability to work well under pressure, juggle tasks and work efficiently against deadlines.
Experience developing and motivating a global team, as well as leading through organizational change.
Must have change management leadership capabilities.
Strength in using data and metrics, and experience creating and managing a context of decision-oriented data.
Exceptional executive presence and presentation skills.
Travel globally required (10%), including overnight stays.
This position is open to locations across the United States including the ability to work from home based on qualifications, experience, and skillset. If located outside of Des Moines, IA, significant travel to Des Moines would be a part of this role.
