We are looking for an experienced strategic SEO Manager to join the Marketing team at Boatsetter. This person will be responsible for planning, implementing and managing the company's overall SEO strategy. They cover a wide variety of duties such as content strategy planning, link building, and keyword strategy while working hand-in-hand with the PR and Product teams on SEO initiatives.

In this role, you will be responsible for

Plan, develop and implement Boatsetters SEO strategy

Oversee the creation of content (ie. blogs, destination guides, link-building content) as well as the publishing of content (ie. WordPress)

Oversee keyword planning for all content creation, copywriting on the site, and link-building initiatives.

Work hand-in-hand with PR team to ensure its positive SEO impact on the companys rankings.

Regularly perform thorough keyword research on Boatsetters market as well as competitors markets.

Monitor redirects, click rate, bounce rate, and other KPIs using Google Analytics

Develop a strategy for link-building initiatives and oversee the development of the initiatives in action.

Stay up to date with the latest SEO and digital marketing latest trends and best practices and be able to change the companys SEO strategy accordingly.

Coordinate technical site audits and implementation of its outcome

What were looking for..

Minimum 2+ years experience in SEO within direct to consumer e-commerce category

Familiarity with HTML and CSS, URL schemes

Analytical Mindset: Using data to understand and improve overall SEO strategy

Familiarity with SEO management tools such as SEMrush, MOZ, Sistrix, etc.

Highly organized, results-driven with exceptional attention to detail and great project management skills

Ability to collaborate cross-functionally between multiple teams and stakeholders, as well as remote contractors

Self-starter that thrives under a fast-paced environment and looking to Get Shit Done!

Excellent English skills, verbally and written. Spanish is a plus!
