LePort Montessori is a proud member of the Spring Education Group, an exceptional private school network delivering superior educational outcomes for an expanding global community of students, families & educators.

The first LePort Montessori classroom was opened in 2000 to offer Orange County families an authentic AMI Montessori education option. We have grown to include 11 Southern California campuses that offer nurturing infant programs that progress to a rigorous Montessori upper school curriculum, and include options in English, Mandarin & Spanish-immersion. Our mission is to equip students with Knowledge for Life - the essential knowledge, thinking skills, and strength of character required to flourish as joyous children today and prepared for a lifetime of personal and academic success.

You are a devoted Montessori educator with a passion for sharing your knowledge and collaborating with leaders, colleagues, staff, students and their families. You are an inspiring leader that can compassionately manage teams while adhering to organizational rules, polices and values. A flair for business is a must, including the ability to effectively solve problems and proactively manage the operational side of running a school. You are seeking to join LePort as the next step in your Montessori journey to form a long-term, meaningful relationship that creates a shared positive impact for yourself and your school community. A typical day

The Head of School oversees the campus administrative team, academic staff, Montessori program, operations and the financials involved in daily school operations and overall profitability. You will observe in classrooms, as well as your campus community as a whole, to best understand the pulse of your school. You should have an excellent understanding of the governing agency and organizational rules and always exercise discretion and independent judgment to run your campus. Best practices should be continuously identified to implement at your school and share with your leadership peer group during weekly meetings. Your overall goal is to ensure that all students and staff are supported in a safe and nurturing environment with the resources to provide an exceptional

Montessori education aligned with LePort's vision and in adherence with all governing agency rules and regulations.

Musts

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Montessori Training (AMI preferred)

  • Classroom Experience (3+ years)xx

  • Substantive leadership / management experience (school leadership experience strongly preferred)

  • School administration or other operations experience, with developed ability to solve complex operational problems

  • Ability to establish and actively maintain a strong, positive campus culture, orienting team members around our educational vision

  • Passion for the Montessori philosophy of education, actively pursued and nurtured

  • Dedication to quality and service to each individual child and family

  • Ability to embrace and exemplify both the Montessori philosophy & Spring Education Group's core mission

  • Ability to work with other campus leaders, management, & administration to implement policies & procedures

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
