Drive the future of sales learning
Serving as a leader, strategist and coach, you'll design, build, and operationalize a new sales enablement function that provides end-to-end sales training and development within Financial Advisor Services (FAS).

As the Head of Learning & Development within our Financial Advisor Services division, you'll develop the vision and strategy of a comprehensive end-to-end training and coaching program and set the tone for your team to ensure sales training priorities are met and well delivered. As part of the Sales Enablement team, you'll use your strong leadership and relationship building savvy to develop and improve organizational functions in one of our largest and most profitable divisions, FAS. The FAS Division has $2T in assets and works with many of the largest financial institutions across all intermediary channels including Broker Dealers, Banks, Registered Investment Advisors, and Insurance companies.
In this newly developed and critical role, you'll partner closely with Sales leadership, HR, vendors, and other partners to define and provide key resources for success.
In this role, you will:
Reinvent and own the FAS Learning & Development platform. Create the strong processes, coaching, tools, resources, and technology our salesforce needs to thrive. Be the advocate and voice for Learning and Development within the FAS organization and across the enterprise. Enhance the division through your influence on sales committees.
Become an influencer within FAS. Craft the vision and strategy of a comprehensive end-to-end training and coaching program and set the tone for your team to ensure sales training priorities are met and well delivered.
Align training programs based on data, such as sales and marketing strategic plans and the annual needs assessment, which you will spearhead. Appreciation for data analytics helps guide your decisions.
Drive content development and delivery. Determine the optimal mix of learning methods (i.e. coaching, job-shadowing, online training) using divisional, enterprise, and external resources.
Work with partner organizations to effectively incorporate and combine the best practices of training and coaching programs being used industry wide.
Hire, develop, and lead crew, building a strong team atmosphere. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and providing mentorship, training and motivation as necessary to develop staff to help them reach their full potential.
Effectively communicate and deliver presentations to executive audiences.

What it takes
Minimum of eight years related work experience. Five years' experience in education, instructional design or other related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
Experience with a variety of learning formats and approaches, including their benefits and constraints.
Proven skills in people leadership, strategic thinking, project management, and prioritizing work.
Superior organizational and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate successfully up, down, and sideways in the organization.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation skills to senior management.
The ability to work in an dynamic and fast-paced environment.
